Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum) is an annual herb with light green leaves and small white flowers. It is cultivated for its edible seeds. Fenugreek has three culinary uses: as a herb (dried or fresh leaves), as a spice (seeds), and as a vegetable (fresh leaves, sprouts, and micro greens).Fenugreek seeds are used in candy, baked goods, ice cream, chewing gum , pickles, vegetable dishes, daals, spice mixes, and soft drinks and also used in breads in Egypt .
